The Kingston upon Thames Place Committee met on 20 November 2025 and approved the proposed schemes listed in Annex 1 of the Proposed Local Implementation Plan (LIP) Programme 2026/27 for submission to Transport for London (TfL). The committee also delegated authority to the Director of Highways, Transport and Regulatory Services, in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder, to approve any necessary adjustments or prioritisation of the proposed schemes if TfL amends the funding levels.

The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee met on Tuesday 18 November 2025. The committee deferred a decision on a supplementary request for funding for the Tudor Library Mindful Garden. The meeting also discussed speed reduction measures and considered two planning applications.

Standards Sub-Committee - Wednesday 12 November 2025 7:00 pm

The Standards Sub-Committee met on 12 November 2025, where Councillor Lynn Henderson was elected as Chair for the meeting, and the minutes of the previous meeting held on 30 September 2025 were approved. Councillor Jamal Chohan abstained from the vote on the minutes, as he had not been present at the previous meeting.

Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel - Thursday 23 October 2025 7:30 pm

The Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel were scheduled to meet to discuss questions from the public, and to receive an update on the Mental Health Act. The panel were also scheduled to discuss a report on the support available to carers in Kingston.

Annual Meeting, Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education - Monday 20 October 2025 6:30 pm

The Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) of Kingston upon Thames Council met to discuss religious education and worship in Kingston schools. The agenda included the appointment of a chair and vice-chair, updates on SACRE matters, and a review of the annual report. Members were also scheduled to discuss standards of religious education, a potential RE award, faith walks, and updates from RE Today and NASACRE[^2].
