Procurement of the Highways Term Service Contract (HTSC)

The current Highway Term Service Contract expires in March 2027. This current contract provides for the delivery of highway engineering and construction services to supplement the services delivered by the council’s in-house highways workforce.Highways are asking for approval by cabinet to start the procurement of a new Highway Term Service Contract

To seek cabinet approval for re-tendering a new 5 year contract that exceeds the £500K threshold. The new contract must be in place by September 1, 2025.
