Local Council Tax Support 2025/26

Every year local authorities are required to undertake a review of their scheme to ensure it still meets local needs as well as financial impacts. Any potential changes require full consultation with residents, and the final decision made at Full Council before the budget setting, for implementation on the 1 April every year for the statutory provisions to be undertaken.

Future arrangements for services currently delivered by Hampshire County Council under service level agreements (Children’s Services)

When the children’s services partnership arrangement between IOW and HCC ended on 31/1/24, service level agreements were put in place for ten services (e.g. Multi agency safeguarding hub, educational psychology, and school improvement). The IOW needs to proceed with the next stage of designing and implementing future arrangements before the end of these service level agreements, and Cabinet are asked to approve the proposed next steps.
