The agenda for the Pension Committee meeting included a business update on the Gloucestershire Pension Fund [^2], covering governance, operations, funding and investment. The committee was also scheduled to note the draft minutes of the Pension Board meeting held on 23 October 2025.

Appeals Board - Wednesday 19 November 2025 10.00 am

The Appeals Board met to consider appeals in respect of charges for assistance with home to school transport. Councillor Stuart Graham was appointed as Chairperson for the meeting. The board approved the public summary and exempt minutes of the meeting held on 17 October 2025.

County Council - Wednesday 12 November 2025 10.00 am

Gloucestershire County Council met on Wednesday 12 November 2025, and members debated the future of local government reorganisation in the county, ultimately expressing a preference for a single unitary authority. They also approved a new council strategy and agreed to incorporate the views of young people in policy decisions. Additionally, councillors addressed concerns about highways maintenance and the impact of inheritance tax reforms on local farmers.

Children and Families Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 6 November 2025 10.00 am

The Children and Families Overview and Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet on 6 November 2025 to discuss a range of issues affecting children and families in Gloucestershire. The agenda included updates on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) recovery plan, as well as consideration of the Annual Safeguarding Report. The committee also planned to discuss the Childcare Sufficiency Annual Report and the Annual Report on School Admissions.
