The Aberdeen City Council convened for a special meeting, prompted by a written request, to address concerns regarding the handling of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in council properties. The meeting was called to discuss the support offered to affected tenants and homeowners, and the financial flexibilities available to achieve a just settlement for RAAC homeowners.

The Council of Aberdeen City Council convened for a special meeting to address a request regarding the consideration of financial flexibilities for homeowners affected by RAAC[^1]. The meeting was called following a written request from several councillors.

Licensing Committee - Wednesday, 27th August, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Committee convened to address several key issues, including the Sexual Entertainment Venue Licensing Policy, membership of the Taxi and Private Hire Car Consultation Group, and various licensing applications. The committee agreed to limit the number of Sexual Entertainment Venues in Aberdeen city centre to five, and to keep the number of venues outside the city centre at zero. They also approved changes to the membership of the Taxi and Private Hire Car Consultation Group, and deferred a decision on a House in Multiple Occupation application for 36 Elmfield Avenue.
