The Children and Families Overview and Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet on 6 November 2025 to discuss a range of issues affecting children and families in Gloucestershire. Gloucestershire Police and Crime Panel Complaints Subcommittee - Thursday 30 October 2025 12.00 pm

The Gloucestershire Police and Crime Panel Complaints Subcommittee met to consider a non-criminal complaint regarding the conduct of the Gloucestershire Police and Crime Commissioner, and to review a complaints report. The subcommittee was scheduled to consider a process for resolving the complaint, potentially informally. The meeting was scheduled to exclude the press and public due to the confidential nature of the information to be discussed.

Appeals Board - Friday 17 October 2025 11.20 am

The Gloucestershire Council Appeals Board met on Friday 17 October 2025 to consider appeals regarding charges for home to school transport assistance. Councillor Beki Hoyland, Leader of the Green Group, was appointed Chairperson for the meeting. The board approved the public and exempt minutes of the meeting held on 8 July 2025 and then moved to exclude the press and public to discuss the appeals.

The Children and Families Overview and Scrutiny Committee met on 11 September 2025, to discuss the recent Ofsted inspection, the prevention of youth offending, and the impact of local government reorganisation on children's services. The committee also received an update on the Gloucestershire Children and Young People's Wellbeing Coalition and the One Plan for Children and Young People.

County Council - Wednesday 10 September 2025 10.00 am

Gloucestershire County Council met on Wednesday 10 September 2025, and addressed a number of issues including a motion to support adopted children, a discussion regarding the use of hotels for migrant accommodation, and a proposal to support the Forest of Dean District Council's bid to become a UNESCO Biosphere area. Councillors also debated and voted on motions related to council finances, highways services, and support for farmers.
