Council - Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 7.30 pm

The Council of Lewisham met on 16 July 2025, and agreed to consider a petition regarding divestment from Palestine, adopted the Lewisham Local Plan, and approved the Lewisham Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule. The council also paid tribute to two former councillors who had recently died, and heard announcements on Lewisham schools, the return of the Blackheath fireworks display, and funding for care experienced employment.

Planning Committee B - Tuesday, 15th July, 2025 7.00 pm

The Planning Committee B met to discuss four planning applications, concerning Mercia Grove, Woodyates Road, Broseley Grove, and Sandhurst Road. Councillors voted to approve all four applications, after hearing from planning officers, local residents and applicants.

Sustainable Development Select Committee - Wednesday, 11th June, 2025 7.00 pm

The Sustainable Development Select Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss budget saving proposals, the Sustainable Streets programme, and the committee's work programme for the coming year.

AGM, Council - Wednesday, 7th May, 2025 7.30 pm

The Council of Lewisham Council met on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, for its annual general meeting, and to discuss a review of the council's constitution. The agenda included the election of the speaker and deputy speaker, and the allocation of seats and appointments to committees.

Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday, 29th April, 2025 7.00 pm

The Strategic Planning Committee met to discuss the redevelopment of Thomas Lane Yards in Catford. The committee voted to approve the application, referring it to the Mayor of London for final approval, after hearing concerns about the height of the buildings, the quality of accommodation, and the impact on nearby heritage assets and a music venue. The approval is subject to conditions and the completion of a legal agreement.
