The Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee of Hackney Council decided to approve Lot 1, awarding contracts to two specialist roofing and scaffolding contractors for approximately £1.7m per year. They deferred approval of Lot 2, one specialist contractor for scaffolding inspections, pending a review of insourcing options. The Committee also decided not to delegate authority to the Group Director, Climate Homes and Economy to award these contracts.

The Hackney Council Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee decided on 07/04/2025 to agree a contract variation of £2.5m for the Hackney and City Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service for the financial year 2025/26. The committee also agreed to delegate authority to the Director of Public Health to award 2026/27 funding up to £2.5m, pending central government confirmation. This decision increases the potential maximum contract value to £34m.

...to approve the procurement strategy for a framework agreement to tender for Supported Living and Residential Services and blocks of care, moving from spot purchasing to a contract with an estimated cost of £805.7m over 8 years, and to approve the addition of North East London partners from year 2 onwards.
