In total three applications were scheduled to be discussed at locations in Amwell Street, Chiswell Street and the Barnsbury Estate. Planning sub-committees for the 2024/25 municipal year were also scheduled to be appointed.

The Environment, Climate and Transport Scrutiny Committee met to review the draft of a new Joint Waste Strategy for North London. The committee was also scheduled to discuss two ongoing projects being run by the Council, named Islington in Bloom and Nature Neighbourhoods .

Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 11th November, 2024 7.30 pm

The Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee noted a report on Adult Social Care performance for the first quarter of 2024-25, received evidence from witnesses about adult social care accommodation, and noted a report about adult social care accommodation costs.

Joint Overview and Scrutiny Committee on Health - Monday, 11th November, 2024 10.00 am

This meeting of the Joint Overview and Scrutiny Committee on Health was scheduled to discuss a range of topics, including the relationship between the Whittington and UCLH hospitals, finance arrangements, and planning for winter pressures. The committee was also scheduled to note its work programme and the dates of future meetings.

Corporate Resources and Economy Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 5th November, 2024 7.30 pm

The meeting heard presentations on progressive procurement, an update from the Executive Member for Equalities, Communities and Inclusion, the Corporate Performance for quarter one 2024-25, and the Annual Workforce report. The committee also heard the Chair's report, and there were no public questions.
