Appointments Committee

The following functions of the Council are delegated to this Committee - 1.  Power to decide on all matters relating to those functions which have not been reserved to the full Council or specifically delegated to any other Committee of the Council. 2. The Appointment of Directors and Heads of Service in accordance with agreed HR&OD policies and procedures. * This is a standard 8 member committee with the Chair and Opposition Spokesperson of the relevant Policy Committee being included in the membership.
