Purpose

Full Council is asked to consider the
continuation of the member officer working group which supported
the development of a cross service policy
relating to the Council’s provision of toilets and sanitary
provision in its buildings. Legislative clarification has dispensed
with the need for a policy. Compliance with legislation is an
operational matter but the request from the councillors on the
group is that the terms of reference of the group is revised and
the member officer working group continues to meet to support and
oversee the required service activity as noted in the
report.
