Agreed Minute of Meeting of the
Buchan Area Committee of 3 February
2026.
 
Further agreed to note verbal
update from Area Manager in relation to Item 6 –
External Nominations for School Placings and Exclusions Appeals
Committee – “Of the three nominations put forward,
unfortunately one nomination had to be rejected given the
individual currently works within the Education &
Children’s Service.  Given no
further nominations have been submitted to myself, I can confirm
that two nominations have gone forward as external members from the
Buchan area and they are (1) Evan Ritchie and
(2) Veronica Cordiner
