Purpose
To seek committee's approval of the planned revenue works for 2026-27, to seek comments on the proposed capital works for 2026-27, and to update committee on 2025-26 works.
Decision
The Committee agreed to:-
- note the updates on 2025-26 works provided in Appendices A, B, C and D;
- approve the proposals in Appendices E, I, J and K for allocating Revenue funding within their area for Roads and Bridges; and
- make the following comment to Infrastructure Services Committee on the proposals in Appendices F, G, H, I, J and K for Capital funding within their area for Roads and Bridges:-
Consideration should be given to the use of non-ring fenced funding (for flood studies) for other infrastructure priorities on the grounds that there are already 4 flood studies ready without funding to undertake these.
