Agreed (1) to hear two requests to speak, (2)
that the application be referred to
the Infrastructure Services Committee for determination, with the
Buchan Area Committee’s support for the application having
agreed that authority to Grant Full Planning
Permission be delegated
to the Head of Planning and Economy subject to the conditions as
detailed in the report, and (3) given there are known to be
several renewable energy projects (and associate transmission
infrastructure) proposed and which impact the Buchan area, to
request that Officers highlight in the report to Infrastructure
Services Committee and to the various companies concerned the
importance of them engaging and working together to support
decarbonisation.
 
Further agreed
to request that Officers ensure that all interested parties are
made aware that there is the opportunity to make a request to speak
at the Infrastructure Services Committee that will be hearing this
particular application, and that they
are able to attend in-person should they wish.
