Agreed (1) that the application be referred to the
Infrastructure Services Committee for determination, having
confirmed the BAC’s support for the application by agreeing
that authority to Grant Full Planning Permission
be delegated to the Head of Planning and Economy
subject to (a) the conditions detailed in the report, and (b) the
requirement for more detail being made available to ISC in relation
to the proposed drainage measures.
Having raised concerns in relation to the significant traffic
delays currently being experienced at the A90 Peterhead junction,
further agreed to note that Officers are looking at this issue to
establish if any of the construction activity associated with other
energy applications approved are adding to this issue, and if so
the Planning Service will liaise with Transport Scotland to
reconsider the agreed Traffic Management Plans in-place and any
future Traffic Management Plans which will impact on the A90
Peterhead junction.
