1.       DECLARATION OF
MEMBERS’ INTERESTS.
 
In respect of declaration of members’ interests
as required by the Code of Conduct for members, the following
declarations were intimated.
 

(1)          
Councillor J Goodhall declared an interest in Agenda
Item 6 (LRB 585) by virtue of the
application site being within his ward. Councillor Goodhall
concluded that he would withdraw from proceedings when that review
was being determined.

(2)           
Councillor R Menard declared and interest in Agenda
Item 7 (LRB 586) by virtue of the
application site being within his ward. Councillor Menard concluded
that he would withdraw from proceedings when that review was being
determined.
 

(3)           
Councillor Simpson made a transparency statement in respect of Item 8 (LRB 588) and Item 9
(LRB 589). While both sites were not located in his ward, he stated
that he did have a connection by virtue of his wife, Councillor
Anne Simpson. Both sites were located in her ward and as such she
had been consulted on the planning applications in the usual way
via Local Member Consultation. Councillor Simpson stated that both
applications had been determined under delegated powers, and his
wife had not expressed a view or been involved in the decision
making for those applications and as such he confirmed, having
applied the objective tests, that he had no interest to
declare.

(4)           
Councillor P Johnston declared and interest in
Agenda Item 10 (LRB 592) by virtue of the
application site being within his ward. Councillor Johnston
concluded that he would withdraw from proceedings when that review
was being determined.
