The Committee:
 
1.   
did not consider the Stage 1 Scrutiny report to provide sufficient
assurances on the matters raised in the MPI, and
 
2.   
requested the delivery of a Stage 2 Workshop for the Committee, to
allow further exploration of the issues and identification of
potential improvement actions, with the following information to be
available for consideration:
 
a)   
Outcome of speed survey
b)   
Details of how the Speed Manual affects the area that was subject
of the MPI,
c)   
Information about scheduled road repairs in that area,
d)   
An update from Police Scotland regarding the reporting of road
related incidents in that area,
e)   
Visual aids such as a fly over or video footage of the areas of
concern,
f)     
Detail on the policies that officers have used to determine the
current status, and
g)   
Any other information that Policy officers would consider helpful
to aid discussion.
