There had been circulated a report
by the Director of Environment and Infrastructure Services which
sought consideration of an application
for Full Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for
Installation of Replacement Door at 33A and 33B Evan Street,
Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, AB39 2ET
 
Recommendation for APP/2024/0289 &
APP/2024/0291
10.1 GRANT Full Planning Permission subject to
the following condition:-
01. In accordance with Section 58 of the Town
and Country Planning Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended) this planning
permission will lapse on the expiration of a period of three years
from the date of this decision notice, unless the development is
begun within that period. Page 59 Item 6
Reason: Pursuant to Section 58 of the Town and
Country Planning (Scotland)
Act 1997 (as amended).

GRANT Listed Building Consent
10.3 That the Committee agree the reason for
departing from the
Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan 2023 and
National Planning
Framework 4 Plan.
The Planning Authority considers that the
application is for a development
that is not in accordance with the
Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan
2023 and National Planning Framework 4. The
proposed installation of a
replacement door and specifically the use of
the uPVC material is considered,
on balance, to be acceptable as a departure to
the Aberdeenshire Local
Development Plan 2023 Policy HE1 Protecting
Listed Buildings, Scheduled
Monuments and Archaeological Sites (including
other historic buildings),
Policy HE2 Protecting Historic, Cultural and
Conservation Areas and National
Planning Framework 4 Policy 7 NPF4: Historic
assets and places given the
special circumstances outlined in relation to
flood protection and is in
accordance with NPF4 policy 1: Tackling the
climate and nature crises and
policy 2: Climate mitigation and
adaptation.
