Purpose

To advise Committee of the position on salary
overpayments in the 5 financial years comprising 2018/19 to
2022/23, including information on the largest overpayments and
amounts recovered, and process improvements to mitigate further
salary overpayments.

Content

Instruct finance officers to prepare a report
for Committee consideration 12 months’ time to provide
assurance that the interventions to reduce salary overpayments were
working effectively.
