Purpose

The report presents all of the applications
received to the second tranche of applications to the Garioch area
Initiatives Fund and an update on Small Grants and Strategic budget
as appropriate

Content

Committee
agreed:
1.       to approve the
following Area Initiatives Fund awards:
a)   Westdyke Leisure
Centre (aka Denman Pre-School) - £4,914
b)   Whiterashes Village Hall (aka Whiterashes Community Hall) - £5,000, subject
to confirmation of match funding.
c)   Inverurie
Cricket Club - £1,200; subject to confirmation of no
duplication of funding with Aberdeenshire Educational
Trust.
d)   Oyne Community Association -
£3,000
e)   Westhill Bowling
Club - £4,750
f)    Hatton of
Fintray Community Association -
£1,782
g)   Cycling Without
Age Scotland - £4,900, subject to confirmation of funding
offer from Friends of Insch Hospital.
 

2.     the transfer of £4,274
from the Strategic Budget to meet awards made from Area Initiatives
Fund;

 

3.     to note the awards made from the
Small Grants Fund and to retain the balance remaining but with no
further promotion to take place;

 

4.     to note the updates relating to the
Strategic Budget and to retain the balance remaining but with no
further promotion to take place.
