About
The Housing and Wellbeing Committee is responsible for overseeing the council's services related to housing, community safety, and resident wellbeing. It has delegated authority to manage areas such as housing strategy, the Housing Revenue Account, homelessness services, and revenues and benefits. The committee also oversees leisure, culture, safeguarding, and the Lifeline service, ensuring these functions are delivered effectively by the council, its sub-committees, or through partnerships.
