About

The Licensing Sub-Committee is responsible for handling licensing applications that face objections or representations which cannot be resolved through standard procedures. It comprises three councillors selected from the main Licensing Committee. This sub-committee makes decisions on contested licensing matters, as referred by officers or permitted by law and the council's delegation scheme. Meetings are scheduled only when specific applications require consideration.
