Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to approve
arrangements relating to the procurement of services, via the
Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO) Mstar4 framework, for
the provision of temporary and interim staff.

Content

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i) 
Approve the procurement and award of an initial two-year contract
for the provision of temporary / interim staff and ancillary
services, through the ESPO framework (MSTAR4) Lot 1b –
Managed Service Provider, to Adecco UK Limited in accordance with
the strategy set out in the report; and
 
(ii) 
Delegate authority to the Strategic Director, Resources, in
consultation with the Leader of the Council and the Head of Legal,
to conduct the procurement and award and enter into the contract(s)
and all other necessary or ancillary agreements to fully implement
and effect the proposals.
