Cabinet resolved to recommend the
Assembly to:
 
(i)  Note the outcome of
the public consultations as set out in section 7 and Appendices B
to F to the report;
 
(ii)  Note the findings of
the Equalities Impact Assessment, as detailed in section 10 and
Appendix G to the report;
 
(iii)  Note the alternative
scheme options that were considered, as set out in section 4 and
Appendix A to the report;
 
(iv)  Adopt Model 2, which would
offer a maximum award of 63% as detailed in paragraph 4.5 and
Appendix A to the report, as the replacement Council Tax Support
Scheme for 2025/26; and
 
(v)  Agree funding of up to
£500,000 for the Discretionary Council Tax Relief scheme for
2025/26, as detailed in section 6 of the report.
