Purpose

The Council has been allocated
a £1m extension of UKSPF funding (roughly 65% capital and 35%
revenue) and the Cabinet will be asked to approve its
allocation.

Content

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Endorse the
Council’s submission for UKSPF funding for 2025/26 as
detailed in section 2 of the report; and
 
(ii)  Delegate authority
to the Strategic Director, Inclusive Growth, in consultation with
the Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development and
the Strategic Director, Resources, to allocate and oversee spending
in line with the Council’s priorities.
