Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to
approve proposals relating to the procurement of new suppliers to
carry out enforcement agent processes, currently provided by the
Becontree Collection Service.

Content

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Agree that the
Council proceeds with the procurement of a four-year contract for
external enforcement agent services via the YPO Enforcement Agency
Services Framework, in accordance with the strategy set out in the
report; and
 
(ii)  Authorise the
Strategic Director, Resources, in consultation with Leader and the
Head of Legal, to conduct the procurement and award and enter into
the contracts and all other necessary or ancillary agreements to
fully implement and effect the proposals.
