Purpose

Further to Minutes 16 and 17 of
its meeting on 18 June 2024, the Cabinet will be asked to consider
and approve revised proposals for the procurement of contracts for
the provision of Highway and Street Lighting maintenance services
via the established London Construction Programme Dynamic
Purchasing System (DPS) for Minor Works and Professional
Services.

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Agree that the Council joins the London
Construction Programmes Advanced
Dynamic Purchasing (Markets) System for Minor Works and
Professional Services to provide access to multiple supply chains
covering highways and street lighting services, in accordance with
the strategy set out in the report; and
 
(ii)  Authorise the
Strategic Director, Housing, Environment and Communities, in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Public Realm and Climate
Change and the Head of Legal, to conduct the procurement and award
and enter into the contracts and all other necessary or ancillary
agreements to fully implement and effect the proposals.
