Purpose

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Approve the waiver
of tendering requirements under the provisions of Contract Rules
35.5(c) and 35.8 and agree that the Council continues with the
previously agreed contractual arrangements with Housing Britain for
the use of existing temporary housing stock until March 2027;
and
 
(ii)  Authorise the
Strategic Director, Housing, Environment and
Communities, in consultation with the Head of
Legal, to enter into the contract and all
other necessary or ancillary agreements on behalf of
the Council.
