Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to approve proposals for the
direct award of an 18-month contract to the
Citizens Advice Bureau Dagenham (CABD) for the provision of
specialist information and advice services relating to welfare
benefits, debt and housing, to be funded via Household Support
Fund.

Content

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Agree the direct
award of an 18-month contract from 1 October 2025 – 31 March
2027 to Citizens Advice Bureau Dagenham for the continued provision
of specialist information and advice services, in accordance with
the strategy set out in the report; and
 
(ii)  Authorise the Head
of Legal, or an authorised delegate on her behalf, to enter into
the contract and all other necessary or ancillary agreements to
fully implement and effect the proposals.
