Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to approve the direct award of a
new, maximum five-year contract for professional services to ensure
the support and maintenance of the software and licenses for the
Open Housing management system.

Content

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Agree to the
entering into of a direct award contract
with MRI Software for the continued provision of the Open Housing
Management System via the KCS Procurement Services Y20023 framework
for Managed Services for Business Solutions, in accordance with the
strategy set out in the report; and
 
(ii)  Delegate authority
to the Strategic Director for Housing, Environment and Communities,
in consultation with the Strategic Director, Resources, and the
Head of Legal, to award and enter into the contract and any other
necessary agreements for the initial and relevant extended period,
including the procurement of professional services to ensure the
support and maintenance of the software, licenses and associated
software.
