Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to
consider and endorse proposals relating to leasehold payment
options for major works.

Content

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Approve in principle
the enhanced and new leaseholder payments options in respect of
major works to leasehold properties, as set out in section 2 of the
report;
 
(ii)  Agree that
leaseholders be consulted on the proposals; and
 
(iii)  Subject to their being no
material changes to the proposals following consultation, delegate
authority to the Strategic Director, Housing, Environment and
Communities, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Adult
Social Care, Health and Housing, to implement the new arrangements
in line with the timetable in section 4 of the report.
