Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to
approve procurement arrangements for the short and/or long term
hire of vehicles to support the Council’s fleet transport
service.

Content

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Agree the use of the
Commercial Services Kent Limited Vehicle Rental Framework via The
Procurement Partnership Limited for the Council’s short-term
and spot hire vehicle requirements for the four-year period 15
October 2025 to 14 October 2029, in accordance with the strategy
set out in the report; and
 
(ii)  Authorise the
Strategic Director, Housing, Environment and Communities, in
consultation with the Head of Legal, to enter into the contract(s)
and all other necessary or ancillary agreements to fully implement
and effect the proposals.
