Purpose

The Cabinet will be asked to
approve proposals relating to the procurement of telephony services
for use within the Council’s Contact Centre, Unified
Communications and schools.

Content

Cabinet resolved to:
 
(i)  Agree that the
Council proceeds with the procurement of a contract(s) for both a
new UCaaS supplier and a new
CCaaS supplier commencing March 2027,
in accordance with the strategy set out in the report; and
 
(ii)  Authorise the
Strategic Director, Resources, in consultation with the Head of
Legal, to conduct the procurements and award and enter into the
contract(s) and all other necessary or ancillary agreements to
fully implement and effect the proposals.
