Purpose
The Pharmaceutical Needs
Assessment (PNA) is a statutory document required to be produced by
every local authority’s Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB)
every three years. The PNA assesses the pharmacy needs of the
local population and provides a framework to enable the strategic
development and commissioning of community pharmacy services to
help meet the needs of the local individual population.
The Board will be asked to
agree the latest PNA for the Borough.
