The Health & Wellbeing Board and ICB Sub-Committee (Committees in Common) approved progress towards delivering 'Smokefree 2030' in Barking and Dagenham on 13 January 2026. The decision noted the scale of the challenge and progress made in 2024/25, and considered how partners can support work to reduce smoking. This includes plans for increased capacity of the Stop Smoking Service, a review of community pharmacy services, targeted community support, an opportunistic adviser in A&E pilot, and insight research for targeted communications.
