Further to Minute 34 (27 September 2023), the
Chief Executive presented a report on the proposed appointment of
the Council’s Director of Strategy, Sal Asghar, as the
Council’s statutory Scrutiny Officer, in accordance with
section 9FB of the Local Government Act 2000 (amended by the
Localism Act 2011). 
 
The Assembly resolved to designate Sal
Asghar, Director of Strategy, as the Council’s statutory
Scrutiny Officer with effect from 16 May 2024.
