Purpose

As part of the Local Government Finance
Settlement, the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and
Communities (DLUHC) announced that councils must produce and
publish productivity plans setting out how they will improve
service performance and reduce wasteful expenditure to ensure value
for money.
 
The Cabinet will be asked to approve the LBBD
Productivity Plan ahead of its submission to DLUHC.
