Summary
This report seeks approval to award a contract for the London Borough of Barnet’s Substance Misuse Service to Change Grow Live (CGL) for a five-year period (1st April 2025 to 31st March 2030), for an annual value of £2,913,000 and maximum contract value of £14,565,000. We seek to use the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) and specifically, Direct Award Process C (‘Process C’) to the incumbent provider CGL, for the Barnet Integrated Substance Misuse Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Service for Young People and Adults.
The requirement to procure was authorised through Barnet’s Annual Procurement Forward Plan 2024-25 which was presented to and authorised by Cabinet on 12th December 2023.
The Provision of substance misuse services supports the Council to meet its statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 and the Health and Social Care Act 2012 which include commissioning and providing appropriate public health services. Additionally, the provision of substance misuse services supports Barnet’s corporate plan.
