Decision
1.
To agree to the optional first year of a potential 2-year extension
period with Blue 9 Security, as the existing service provider, for
the Corporate Security Contract from 14th September 2021 to 13th
September 2025. This is related to DPR reference 2110018. The
extension is inclusive of increased service costs detailed within
this report.
2.
To agree a 5.60% uplift related to the London Living Wage (LLW) and
CPI which is an annual increase of £48,350.38. The
requirement to meet the London Living Wage (LLW) is built into the
contract. However, inclusion of indexing to CPI is in the form of a
Deed of Variation, to the initial contract. The additional costs
have been budgeted for and are separated between the Estates
Managed Budgets, £29,977.98 per year, and other services,
£18,372.40 per year. The full breakdown has been detailed
within section 5 of this report.
