Purpose
The
existing building fabric condition of the Nursery classroom is
heavily affected by leaks over past few years and walls and ceiling
show significant signs of mould and rotten structure. Consequently, it has been prioritised in
accordance with the Council’s Modernisation Programme and SEN
Programme 2025/2026 and verified by the BELS and Estates / Building
Services Team of London Borough of Barnet.
The
design and specification were taken via the design and build
procurement route using Wates, LBB Term Contractor.
The works include replacement
of all structural elements, water leak protection and
decoration. Works are scheduled to take
place on site and to be completed by October 2025.
