Purpose
The existing safety surface on the two
playground areas are obsolete and are trip hazard
(H&S). Consequently, it has been
prioritised in accordance with the Council’s Modernisation
and SEN Programme 2025/2026 and verified by the BELS and Estates /
Building Services Team of London Borough of Barnet.
The design and specification were taken to
remove and clear from site old safety surface elements and supply
and fit new safety surface. The main contractor was selected
following Procurement mini competition
process between LBB Term
Contractors.
Works are
scheduled to take place on site during Summer holiday 2025 and to
be completed by October 2025.
