Purpose
Barnet Together is the Council’s strategic infrastructure partnership for the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector (VCFSE) in Barnet. Through its partner organisations, Barnet Together provides capacity building support, training, resources, advice and networking opportunities to strengthen the brough’s VCFSE sector.
The partnership receives annual Council funding of £420,000, which is allocated equally between the three delivery partners: Groundwork London, Inclusion Barnet and Young Barnet Foundation.
In accordance with the Council’s Constitution and decision-making framework, Part 2E (Terms of Reference of Cabinet and Cabinet Members) and Part 4A – (Financial Regulations) paragraph 2.4, the Cabinet Member for Equalities, Poverty Reduction, and the Voluntary & Community Sector has the relevant authority to authorise the proposed funding allocation.
