Purpose

Barnet adopted a CIL charging
Schedule in 2013 and made Exceptional Circumstances Relief
available.  Exceptional Circumstance Relief has
continued to be available following adoption of an updated Charging
Schedule in April 2022. 
Pocket Homes have applied for exceptional
circumstances relief from Barnet CIL for the affordable homes in
their scheme at Dolman Close which would amount to relief of
£926,586. 
The Deputy Chief Executive has considered the documents submitted
by Pocket Homes and has concluded that granting Exceptional
Circumstances Relief of £926,586 Barnet CIL would be
appropriate and in accordance with the CIL regulations.
