Purpose

The Barnet Food Hub is a voluntary sector
initiative funded by the Council to provide supplies to a network
of food banks in the borough. It is managed by the Barnet Together
Alliance, the Council’s VCFSE infrastructure partnership and
specifically by Groundwork London.
 
The annual funding cycle for the Food Hub is
from 1 October to 31 September.
 
Until now the bulk of the funding for 2022/23
was from Adults and Health Covid emergency funding. Further budget
has been identified to cover another year of running costs from
October 2023 to September 2024. This amounts to £302,994.
