The full Council is responsible for setting the overall policy and budget framework for Bath and North East Somerset Council, outlining how services will be provided. It also oversees the Council's Constitution, which governs decision-making processes. While the Council sets the strategic direction, the Cabinet and Cabinet Members are responsible for establishing and implementing specific policies within that framework. Council meetings are held approximately six times a year and are open to the public.
