Decision
Decisions Taken –
Existing permits
will no longer be accepted on both sites. Residents will continue
to be required to provide a valid ID to be able to gain access to
the sites. Staff on site will record the residents’ address,
vehicle registration number, vehicle type and the type of waste
brought on site upon entry.
Reduce the annual
weight allowance from 500kg to 250kg for residents in vans at
Thames Road Transfer Station.

Introduce
construction waste / non-household waste charging i.e., a charge of
£2 per 15kg bag for financial year 23/24 for the disposal of
construction waste. Continue to charge commercial users for the
disposal of large volumes of construction waste as per agreed
annual fees and charges.
Introduce a limited
number of 20 visits per vehicle per year for residents in cars. The
number of visits will be monitored by ANPR cameras. Additional
visits will only be granted in exceptional
circumstances.
Introduce a limited
number of 10 visits for residents in large vehicles (pick-ups,
4x4’s and van derived vehicles). The number of visits will be
monitored by ANPR cameras.
Introduction of an
exclusive 30-minute access for pedestrians and cyclists (Bexley
residents) and restricting non-Bexley residents from using the
sites.
