Decision

To continue section 113 status for Deborah
Fuller for the reasons set out below.

Reasons for the decision

Grants4growth is a capital grant scheme that
has been successfully run by the South Holland Economic Development
Team for the last 7 years, funded previously by ERDF monies, this
project has now finished.
However, the team is still in place, and a successful full
application was submitted to UKSPF to utilise the existing team and
methodology to deliver the supporting local business strand of
UKSPF. The ‘new’ Grants4growth project are
administering this funding on behalf of the three authorities
within the SELCP, and to enable this, two members of the team,
Deborah Futter and Nigel Burch, have S113 status to enable them to
work across and on behalf of, the wider partnership, they are both
currently South Holland employees.
As Grant Administrator for the project, Deborah needs S113 status
to enable delivery of the project across the partnership

Alternative options considered

Not to renew S113 status would mean that
Grants4growth could not operate outside of South Holland.
