Decision
East Lindsey District Council are looking to
share an existing member of staff, a Senior Rough Sleeping Case
Officer who will be formally shared with Boston Borough Council
until at least the 31 March 2026.
The decision being sought is under Section 113 of the Local
Government Act 1972 for Boston Borough Council to agree to this
arrangement which will enable a combined role covering both
areas.
Reasons for the decision
To enable the aforementioned officer to manage
the Rough Sleeping function for both Councils.
Alternative options considered
Employment of a Separate Senior at ELDC. Due
to the uncertainty of grant funding being available in March 26 and
recruitment potentially taking a short while this was the best
option in the interim period.
