To share South Holland District
Council’s Business Support Team Leader in Environmental
Services with Boston Borough Council under Section 113 of the Local
Government Act.

Progression of projects contained in the Annual Delivery Plan
require additional resource to deliver, and most pressing is the
streamlining and development of the operational services’
customer contact and website processes.

This opportunity also enables the progression of other initiatives
undertaken by the Operations service such as the cross-department
work to tackle fly-tipping in the borough.

The Business Development Team Leader currently employed by SHDC has
skills that will support this work.

This is a temporary arrangement for 12 months. SHDC will recharge
BBC according to the proportion of time required, estimated at
£12,000pa, which will be met from salary underspends from
sharing the commercial services post with ELDC.
