About

The Licensing Panel determines appeals for licence applications, excluding those under the Licensing Act 2003, where no statutory right of appeal exists. It also decides on applications and other matters referred to it by the Licensing and Safety Committee or the Director of Environment, again excluding functions under the Licensing Act 2003. The panel's decisions affect those applying for or appealing licence applications within the council's remit.
